Weekend at the waterside and on the water
Warmia and Mazury provides excellent conditions for all forms of recreation connected with water: sailing, kayaking, boat trips, houseboating, diving, angling, sunbathing. This is possible due to the region's nearly 3000 lakes, including the longest one (Jeziorak) and two largest ones in Poland: Śniardwy and Mamry. With yachting enthusiasts in mind, a network of modern eco-marinas have been established.
Among the kayaking trails, the best known is the one leading along the river Krutynia, Mazury. Other popular kayaking destinations include the river Łyna with its tributaries, as well as the Narew basin. Natural rivers and picturesque lakes provide kayakers with a host of unforgettable impressions.
